Scottish Highland Coo Ears (Highland Cow)
See bottom of description for details on the Highland Cow
These ears are:
• Handmade in Scotland using luxury copper faux fur
• Attached to a gold metal Alice headband which is flexible to fit a range of head sizes
• Headbands are all capped with rubber tips for comfort during wear
• Scotts language- wee coo (little Cow) big coo (big cow)
• The ears are adjustable and poseable along the headband. I recommend wearing them slid down to the bottom of the headband and freshly brushed for the most realistic look.
• Optional discounted sets for matching Coo ears. Eg- get one big coo and one Wee coo, 2 big coo and one wee coo. These bundles are made for if you'd like to match ears with others.
• No faux fur is wasted in the making of the ears! All shavings and cuttings are either reused for other ears, sold in fabric packs to other artists or cut down and used as a super soft stuffing for tails.
Please get in touch if you have any questions =^-^=
Ear care: Due to shipping, they may arrive a little ruffled which can be easily tidied with a gentle comb through.
To clean, wipe with a damp cloth and do not soak as this may damage the material.
Do not crush, twist or leave around pets. Keep away from high heat that could melt the fibres such as hairdriers, radiators or open flames.
Info on Highland Cows: the Scottish Gaelic name is Bò Ghàidhealach (id add pronunciation notes but ghàidhealach is best explained spoken. Bò however is just pronounced b-òh and is a general word for cow)
Bò Ghàighealach are one of the oldest cattle breeds in existence, originating in the scottish highlands and western isles over 2,000 years ago.
Their long, shaggy coat helps them to survive the cold scottish climate like their own wooly blanket. Their curved horns are not just for fighting but also for foraging for food during the coldest winters.
